Accredited Membership MSBP(Acc)

 

is the Society’s recognition of a member’s considerable expertise and professional achievements. In addition it demonstrates a member’s commitment to providing high quality bereavement care and support.

 

To be eligible for election to Accredited Membership applicants must demonstrate a high level of expertise in any field of bereavement care and support. Candidates should also hold a recognised qualification within their professional field, for example:

 

● Registered Nurse – on any part of the NMC Register

● Accredited Counsellor – e.g. BACP, NCS

● DipFD or CertFP

● CRUSE volunteer

● Graduate in a field relevant to bereavement care practice

● MBIE

● Licensed Minister

● Accredited Celebrant

● NVQ level 3 (and above)

● City and Guilds

● BTEC

 

Applicants applying for membership in this grade must also provide evidence of at least two years post-qualification experience.

 

Experienced applicants not holding professional qualifications

 

The Society recognises the validity of professional knowledge and expertise acquired through many years of work. Applicants with a minimum of ten years verifiable professional experience who do not hold professional qualifications are also encouraged to apply for Accredited Membership.

 

Accredited Membership Subscription:

 

ANNUAL - £65.00

 

 

 

LIFETIME - £250

 

 

Successful applicants will receive an official Certificate of Accredited Membership bearing the Seal of the Society. Members are entitled to adopt the post-nominal letters MSBP(Acc). Members also receive an enamel lapel pin badge and a window badge.
