Welcome to the Society
• do you work professionally with bereaved people?
• do you work with bereaved people as a volunteer?
• are you an end of life care professional or volunteer?
• do you believe only the highest standards of care and client support are acceptable?
• are you committed to ongoing professional development?
• would you appreciate peer recognition of your commitment to best practice?
If you can answer yes to these questions, why not follow your colleagues and join the Society of Bereavement Practitioners?
The Society is a growing professional membership organisation for all working in any capacity with and for bereaved people, or working in end of life care, who aim at all times to uphold best practice in care, support and client service and who wish publicly to declare a commitment to these aims.
Our membership represents a wide cross-section of volunteers and professionals working across the bereavement and end of life care sector, including: doctors, nurses, clergy, funeral directors, embalmers, registrars, celebrants, musicians, monumental masons, counsellors, pet bereavement counsellors, welfare workers and many others.
We look forward to welcoming you as a member.
